KAPU KANAKA - FLORAL
KAPU KANAKA - FLORAL
In ancient Hawai’i, the KAPU sticks were two crossed wooden poles wedged in the ground and capped with cloth. This symbol was used to denote prohibited or sacred locations; and items marked with the KAPU sticks should be protected maintained as sacred.
The Kanaka Maoli flag that adorns the side of our caps is a symbol of Native Hawaiians descendants and represents the people of the islands. In tandem these two symbols create the essence of KAPU Hawai’i and our passion to perpetuate the sacredness of Hawai’i and culture.
Show your style and support for Hawai’i with these limited edition prints available online and at select locations on Oahu and Maui.
*These cotton snapback caps are branded with a large, raised-embroidery KAPU sticks logo, full color Kanaka Maoli flag and floral bill. We created this line with the help of local businesses on the islands of Maui and Oahu.
